Since its opening in 1987, the FEP has received in-kind and financial support for numerous teacher in-service programs, material development, and research projects from national and local institutions, including the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities (LEH), the Louisiana Quality Education Support Fund (LEQSF), the LSU Division of Instructional Support and Development, the LSU Office of Research and Graduate Studies, the Louisiana Department of Education, CODOFIL, and the Board of Regents. The FEP has also received support from foreign governements and institutions, including: the French Embassy in Washington D.C., the French Cultural Services in New Orleans and in New York, the Embassy of Spain in Washington D.C., the Bureau du Québec, and the Communauté Française de Belgique.   • French Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide technical assistance (French Attaché Pédagogique) according to the France-Louisiana Accords renewed on September 25, 2008, between LSU and the French Government, to sustain the continued development of the FEP National Resource Center website to support the teaching of French as a Second Language and French Immersion, in Louisiana and beyond. 2008-2012.
