LOUISIANA ACCORDS
In partnership with the Council for the Developemnt of FRench in Louisiana (CODOFIL), the FEP participates in the negotiation and elaboration of accords between Louisiana and France (France-Louisiana Accords renewed every other year), and between Louisiana and the Communauté Française de Belgique (Belgian-Louisiana Accords, renewed every three years).

The 2004-2006 Accords between Louisiana and France were signed on September 9, 2004 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The 2006-2008 Accords were signed in Paris. The next signing will be in 2008 in Baton Rouge.

On September 25, 2008, the France-Louisiana Accords were renewed. The signing ceremony took place at the Louisiana Governor's mantion. The next signing will take place in 2012 in Paris, France. The 2005 Memorandum of Understanding was integrated in the Accords.
