2008 - Technology Enhanced Professional Development for Louisiana Social Studies Teachers (K-8 and French Immersion). Sgambato, A. and Egéa-Kuehne. A series of four professional development workshops on WWII; via videoconference on 7 Louisiana campuses with the Mémorial de Caen in France and the New Orleans WWII Museum; with support from the General Consulate of France in New Orleans, the French American Cultural Exchange (FACE), and a Board of Regents Supporting Electronic Learning and Essential Campus Transitions (SELECT) Programs extension grant.

Co-PI: Sophie Warny.  A series of three professional development workshops each for Louisiana teachers of science (K-8 and French Immersion), videoconferences on 7 Louisiana campuses. Professional Development for Teachers of French and French Immersion in Louisiana via Compressed Video. A series of four professional development workshops each for (1) elementary and middle school teachers of French, and (2) French immersion teachers. Board of Regents Distance Education Initiative Grant Extension.

2003-2004 - Professional development (BoR DEI) via interactive videoconference. Egéa-Kuehne, D. Project Director and Principal Investigator. Co-PIs: B. Dubernet and R. C. Lafayette. Professional Development for Teachers of French via Compressed Video. One introductory conference from the University of Brunswick and two series of four professional development workshops (six Louisiana sites), for elementary and middle school teachers of French. The goal was to improve the teaching of French through content-based teaching (history, geography, maths, sciences, art, music, etc.). Board of Regents Distance Education Initiative Grant.

2003-2004 - Professional development (BoR DEI) via interactive videoconference. Egéa-Kuehne, D. Project Director and Principal Investigator. Co-PIs: R. C. Lafayette and B. Dubernet. Series of five professional development workshops broadcast to six Louisiana sites with an introductory program from the University of New Brunswick; for Louisiana teachers of French in immersion in the ten Louisiana school districts (30 public schools) which offer immersion programs. The goal was to improve the teaching of history, geography, maths, sciences, and French in Louisiana French immersion programs. Board of Regents Distance Education Initiative Grant.

2002 - International teleconference. Egéa-Kuehne, D. Project Director and Chair for US site. International Videoconference of the Institut de la Fondation de l'Entrepreneurship. With Québec (Montréal, Gaspé), Belgium (Charleroi), Switzerland (Lausanne), France (Paris). March 27.

1997-2000 - Compressed video course. Egéa-Kuehne, D. Compressed video course on "Advanced Studies in Foreign Language Methodologies." Offered for the first time in Fall 1999, with grants from the LSU Division of Instructional Support and Development and the French Cultural Service in New Orleans.

1997 - Teleconference on French immersion programs in Louisiana. Egéa-Kuehne, D. Project Director and Chair. Tele-Conference on French Immersion Programs in Louisiana, Louisiana State University Baton Rouge, Eunice, New Orleans, Shreveport, and Alexandria. To bring information to state and higher administration education officials and general public about French immersion programs in Louisiana, with funding from the French Cultural Service in New Orleans. September 9.
