| In Spring 2007 three professional
development videoconferences were offered to the Louisiana science teachers
K-8 and immersion. Three more are offered in Fall 2007. In our effort to
provide the best learning environment, we planned an open and interactive
format, alternating presentations with active participation from individuals
at all seven sites. In order to make this participation more effective,
we invited two colleagues, one in science and one in French, to act as
local facilitators at each site and lead discussions and activities. |
