Educational Technology Facilitation is designed to prepare building-level technology facilitators who can provide on-going professional development and resource materials and who can solve basic routine technical problems for teachers on their campuses.
Certification in educational technology facilitation may be added to an existing elementary or secondary certificate.
Course requirements include:
Students completing the M.A. in Education degree with Educational Technology concentration can complete the required coursework for the Educational Technology Certification within the framework of the program. ELRC 7505, 4535, 7500 are all required courses in the Masters program.
Educational Technology Leadership
(Louisiana State Certification)
Certification endorsement in Educational Technology Leadership will prepare the candidate whose role it is to coordinate the implementation of technology in a state, regional, or district level. or who serves as a state leader in facilitating the integration of technology to support student learning, communications, and productivity.
Certification in educational technology leadership may be added to an earned master's degree from a regional accredited institution of higher education.
