My unit is centered around individual learning and cooperative group work. In each lesson, the children will listen to me explain the concept for the lesson, then I will start a discussion based on questions that they must understand at the end of the lesson. The students will then break of into two groups where everyone gets their own bag of materials to complete the assignment. My unit is based on hands-on learning. The students learn by doing and then reflect on their thoughts and findings. The students will also illustrate what they find.
