Overview:
The Smith family, from Missouri, wants to visit Louisiana for a one week
summer vacation. Each family member has different interest (father
- museums and plantations, mother - music and food, son - sports/outdoors,
daughter - amusement parks and shopping). Each student will research
one member of the family's interest using the WebQuest resources/internet.
The group will decide on the appropriate vacation sites the Smith family
should see and present their information using HyperStudio to the family
(the class).
Resources/Materials:
1. Assign 4 students to a group (avoid putting low level students
with low level students)
2. Assign each member of the group a family member
3. The students will then research the interest of the family member
using the resources on the WebQuest or search engines.
